Is energetic acupuncture the same as acupuncture without needles?

Energetic acupuncture works with the body’s primary and complementary acupuncture channels energetically rather than with physical needles. Specific channels and points are activated to help regulate the flow of qi (vital energy) in the body. Techniques may include gentle palpation of points or channels, energetic engagement of acupuncture points, and moxibustion where appropriate.

Does treatment involve physical touch?

Yes. Treatment may involve gentle, point-specific touch, and is always guided by assessment and carried out with your consent.

Can energetic acupuncture help with fertility or anxiety?

Energetic acupuncture may be used as supportive care for people experiencing fertility-related concerns or anxiety. In Classical Chinese Medicine, both physical and emotional health are understood in terms of balance, regulation, and the flow of qi through the body’s channels. Treatment is guided by individual presentation and assessment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Energetic acupuncture is not positioned as a cure and does not replace medical care. Some people choose to explore this approach alongside other forms of support, or when seeking a gentle, non-invasive option.

Do I need a referral or private health insurance?

No referral is required. Energetic acupuncture services at Vital Flow Healing are not claimable through private health insurance. When appropriate, we do work collaboratively with GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals.

The clinic is located in the main section of the Long Jetty business district, where Thompson Street meets The Entrance Road. The building is a three-storey commercial premises next to Long Jetty Podiatry, with i-MED Radiology and Compass Pilates signage visible from the street.

After entering the building, take the stairs to Level 1. Vital Flow Healing signage is on the left-hand side of the foyer. A small waiting area is available outside the suite.

Parking

Limited parking is available in the car park adjacent to the building. One allocated space is reserved for clients and marked with the Vital Flow Healing logo. If that space is occupied, street parking is usually available within a short walking distance.
